The major arcana influence for the week is The Hanged Man.
Earthing the card, speaks of encouragement to see the knowing within the emotional heaviness. To not get caught in romancing old memories and pains. This is so very common and one way to distract from feeling the pain beneath it. To go deeper than you have before and reach in to find what you’re not acknowledging and loving about yourself. What parts of yourself are you wanting approval and acknowledgment for?
This is not to say how you’re feeling isn’t valid, on the contrary, to seek out acknowledgement from those that have too easily dismissed you, will keep you on a mouse wheel avoiding to live from those parts of you that you’ve placed a bandaid on. To lose yourself and visit often in a reoccurring memory, keeps you in the past.
This is the challenge, to peel off another layer of this pain.
Deep pain comes up in layers. There are times we need more life experience to manage standing in the emotion of it. Be patient with yourself knowing it will take many times transforming, and this week challenges you to strip another layer off to stand stronger and clearer in yourself.
The supporting card is the 2 of Wands.
This card swings two ways. It speaks of being aware of emotional stagnancy and making sure you are making small steps towards moving how you feel. It’s easy to get caught in grief. Grief feels heavy, and looks like a lot like lack of motivation, in decision and confusion. This card supports the major arcana by reminding you to look beyond what you’re caught in and to remember to ground.
